SAUNA UPGRADES

Are you feeling like your sauna sessions have plateaued? It’s probably because they have. Your body may have become comfortable with where it currently is and with that, unwilling to release toxins stored deep within. This could be for a number of reasons, but most likely because it doesn't feel supported if it were to dump an additional load of toxins into the bloodstream. This is where it’s necessary to come in with support to help the body see and understand we’re here to help swiftly guide the old waste material, energetic thoughts and patterns out of the body. Better out than in and better out than recycled. No use recycling waste that has no value.

If you’re reading this, it’s time to push your sauna sessions to a deeper level.

First, we must provide an easy path for the body to release and let go of the stored patterns and debris.

Incorporating a few of the tools below requires only a few minutes and a little effort.


POWER PLATE

If you have access to a power plate, stand on it for 5-10 min prior to your sauna session. This will stimulate the lymphatic system in advance, helping to mobilize and flush out more of what you don’t want.

Alternatively, you can do a few sets of jumping jacks, burpees or jump on a mini trampoline. Could be any type of movement that stimulates the lymph system to wake it up, get it moving and ready to carry out what no longer serves you.

NIACIN

Niacin

Take before entering the sauna for best results. Get ready for a flush!

Niacin helps draw out toxins stored within fat. If you’re sensitive to niacin, proceed with caution. Take 1-2 capsules just before you get into the sauna. What’s great about taking niacin before getting in the sauna is that if you end up having an “embarrassing” red flush, it will hardly be noticeable since you’ll already be flushed from the sauna.

Note: The niacin flush combined with the heat can be somewhat intense and have a burning feeling. If you are not a glutton for punishment, try a lower dose of niacin.

BINDERS

Binder

Think of this as a mop or sponge that soaks up and carefully escorts released toxins out of the body. Makes sense right? Who would want to willfully recycle toxins?

We aren’t talking about bentonite clay or cilantro here. An effective binder would be one with humic and fulvic acid. Links below to a few I use on a daily basis. Binders are to be taken before AND after the sauna to mop up any heavy metals or biotoxins that have been mobilized so that they don’t reabsorb into the body.

Dosage depends on where you are in your detox journey.

MINERALS

Drinking plain old water to rehydrate just won’t do. Any time water is purified, it loses its structure and needs to be remineralized for the body to benefit.

PLEASE choose PURE water.

REMINERALIZE

Add 1 ampule to your sauna water bottle. Drink during your sauna session and repeat after if fatigued or dehydrated.

Remineralization can be as simple as adding Celtic Salt or LMT to your water. However, a more comprehensive option would be using something like Quinton hyper tonic marine plasma post sauna session since you’ll have lost a considerable amount of water and electrolytes through sweating.
